Is there anyone among you who feels that the Bible does not speak to you? That it is hard to understand and harder to do what it says to do? Are there any among you who feel that there is nothing in there for you, or that heaven does not speak out to His people today? I can understand how this happens to people. I have been there too. So desperate to hear from God because things seems so dire and chaotic around me, nothing going right, and not being able to break free from my own bondage of sin that weighs me down so heavily. When I take a look around me, I see many people claiming they know Jesus or are believers… yet no one is doing what He did, at least as I read the Bible. Then, always struggling with my own sin as I got older, and hoping that “if I could just pick up that Bible and have Him speak to me, cure me, heal me.” Then reading it and getting nothing from it once again and then feeling as though it just cannot be understood. Do any of you, or have any of you felt that way or experienced something similar? Well, He has shown me one clue as to why that is and I am now sharing it with you.
Do you know about the veil? How about scales…. over the eyes? These are common ways in which scripture iteself talks about why we cannot see, hear, or understand certain things of Him and His Kingdom. There was a veil over my eyes and heart. I know that now… the main point being the word “now” As the phrase goes, “you never know you have been alseep, until you wake up.” The veil and the scales prevent understanding and prevent seeing. Sometimes the heart truly is in dire need of understanding due to pain, heartache, certain hopeless situations… and no prayers are being answered and nothing is happening. But God knows the heart. People are always saying this, and it is true. They don’t even know that they are pronouncing the problem upon themselves even as they say that! It is truly amazing! His question to you… as you rove around in darkness: “Are you going to keep and guard My Commandments?” Because if you are not, and yes I truly do know your heart, then I shall not reveal to you what you are seeking.
Why would an Almighty, Righteous Creator reveal Himself to someone who is not going to repent and follow Him? To someone who already thinks they are blessed, and thinks they know how to please Him – just because they have a Bible and know how to read? He will not speak to people who are not going to reflect His Image in the other, or at least those who have the desire to. He is not there to call out when your in pain to be a fixer. He is the Almighty consuming fire, full of Glory and Power, and He desires a people who will reflect His Image in the world. It is not about us… it is about Him. Anyway – sorry for all that soap box stuff, but sometimes it just needs to be said.
So back to the veil: The veil that was over my eyes was placed there by the church, the world, and false teachings – AND ALLOWED by Yahuah (God) to be removed at the most perfect moment by God Himself and His Spirit of Truth. You see we all learn stuff, from the world, church, people, books, etc. We learn them and accept them as the truth because someone in authority said so. Some of those things are so basic and pivotal to all other things, that that one thing can lead us down a path of thinking that truly effects many many other things. Well, this one thing is the thing of my article today and boy or boy I pray you “get it”
So the veil that was over my eyes was removed and it was done in a most dramatic way I might add. I praise God for His never giving up on me, for continuing to allowing me to go down all the destructive paths I did, just to bring me to where I am today. Thank you Father – forever!
It was in 2006, when the veil was removed and I am continually in awe of the revelations He is providing to us, His people, today. Each time this happens I am re-invigorated all over again, revived again, with a reassurance that “YES” He is still listening and still speaking to His people – those obeying His Commandments, with His Torah in their hearts, and following after the Good Shepherd. It is my testimony that the veil will not be lifted until a believer truly submits their whole heart AND committs with their whole heart to “keep His Commandments” Disregarding everything they have ever been “taught” and actually listen only to God, through His written Word. It is my testimony that with each instruction that is given by Him in His Word that is kept and guarded and performed, more revelation will be given. Even what I am about to share with you will not be understood by you, if you have not committed to follow Him.
With that introduction, I will now share with you what has my heart leaping with joy once again. For:
He talking about Me!
Our King of kings, Yahuah, spoke many parables while He tabernacled among us in the flesh. He spoke in parables in fulfillment of prophecy about Him and for the purpose of the veil. The very veil I spoke about earlier in this article. Another one of His parables has been unlocked! and revealed! I give credit to 119 Ministries at Test Everything.net for this revelation. It was so funny too, because as I was watching the teaching – I literally blurted out the answer before they got to it! Ha ha ha. You know why? Because God was speaking to me!
A Word about Parables…
Do we understand what a parable really is? I am not asking about what we have been “taught” a parable is, but what a parable really is. Most of us know, that the parables spoken by Jesus (Yahuah) are these sayings He said in trying to teach us the deeper meanings of things. They were even difficult for the disciples to understand, and they are hard for us too. It is my testimony that they are made EASY when you keep the commandments… ALL of them (yes, that means reading the “old testament”)
A parable is the language of a King. Please read and learn with me, for I also am just learning the meaning of a parable and I am amazed. Then we will get into the specific parable of my article – because of my desire to share with you all… the great revelation of this parable.
The Hebrew word for parable is:
mashal {maw-shawl’} apparently from 04910 in some original sense of superiority in mental action; TWOT – 1258a; n m AV – proverb 19, parable 18, byword 1, like 1; 39 1) proverb, parable 1a) proverb, proverbial saying, aphorism 1b) byword 1c) similitude, parable 1d) poem 1e) sentences of ethical wisdom, ethical maxims
It comes from the Hebrew word:
mashal {maw-shal’} Strong 4910; a primitive root; TWOT – 1259; v AV – rule 38, ruler 19, reign 8, dominion 7, governor 4, ruled over 2, power 2, indeed 1; 81 1) to rule, have dominion, reign 1a) (Qal) to rule, have dominion 1b) (Hiphil) 1b1) to cause to rule 1b2) to exercise dominion
Did you see that? Rule, Dominion, Power, Reign, exercise dominion. The word parable comes from this and it is a sense of superiority in mental action. Sentences in ethical wisdom.
Our King spoke in parables and He Himself said:
“Because it has been given to you to know the secrets of the reign of the heavens, but to them it has not been given.
For whoever possesses, to him more shall be given, and he shall have overflowingly; but whoever does not possess, even what he possesses shall be taken away from him.
Because of this I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do ot see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
And in them the prophecy of Yeshayahu (Isaiah) is completely filled, which says, “Hearing you shall hear and by no means understand, and seeing you shall see and by no means perceive, for the heart of this people has become thickened, and their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with ther eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back (REPENT), and I heal them.'” Matthew 13:11-15
Here is the parable…
It is about a woman and a coin; a single, missing, silver coin. This parable can be found in the Gospel of Luke chapter 15 in verses 8-10
“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she finds it?
And having found it, she calls friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Regoice with me, for I have found the coin which I lost!”
I say to you, in the same way there is joy in the presence of the messengers of Elohim over one sinner repenting.”
The way to study scripture for meaning is to first live what it says, even when the meaning is not understood. You will understand it AFTER you do it most of the time. It is this way for a reason. Secondly, in all cases possible, define terms according to the old testament please. Everything you read in the new testament came from the old. There was no new testament when the new testament was written… there was ONLY the old testament and that is what everyone taught from. So let us take this parable apart together using this instruction.
Who is the “woman” in our parable? The woman is the entity who stood at Mount Sinai and said “We will”
This is God speaking: “This is what you are to say to the ‘house of Jacob’ and declare to the ‘children of Israel’:
‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ windg and brought you to Myself. And now, if you diligently obey My voice, and shall guard My covenant, then you shall be My treasured possession (Segulah, Bride) above all the peoples – for all the earth is Mine – and you shall be to Me a reign of priests and a set-apart nation.’ Exodus 19
What did the people (the woman, the Bride) say to this? “And all the people answered together and said, “All that Yahuah has spoken we shall do.” Exodus 19:8
We find further evidence of how God Himself saw Israel when we read His Words found in the prophets:
“For your Maker is your husband, Yahuah of hosts is His Name, and the Set-apart One of Israel is your Redeemer. He is called the Elohim of all the earth.” Isaiah 54:5
And in Jeremiah speaking to the Northern Tribes (the House of Israel): “But indeed as a wife betrays her husband, so have you betrayed Me, O house of Israel,” declares Yahuah Jeremiah 3:20
and we will do one more to drive it home: “See, the days are coming,” declares Yahuah, “when I shall make a renewed covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, THOUGH I WAS A HUSBAND TO THEM,” declares Yahuah. Jeremiah 31:31-32
So, the woman is the wife of Yahuah – the betrothed, the future Bride, Israel.
This woman HAD ten silver coins. Our next question: what are these ten silver coins that Israel had at a previous time?
The Psalmist tells us: “The Words of Yahuah are clean Words, Silver tried in a furnace of earth, refined seven times.” Psalm 12:6
Although there are many many other references to silver in the Scriptures, the one found in Psalm 12:6 leads us to the proper understanding. Remember we are talking about a “coded message” of the King. A special language that only those who have loved Him enough to search Him out, His Words and Ways, will understand. If we were to use the references to silver shekels – what mystery is that? Not much mystery there. Then there are all the silver utensils… no mystery there either. We are in search of something the silver “represents” and it would not be anything in scripture that is literally silver because it is a parable.
Ok, so. Israel had ten silver coins. The silver, we found, is His Word. From above: The Words of Yahuah are silver… tried in a furnace. So now, we know the silver Israe, the Bride, the Womanl had was His Words… and there were ten of them, right? I mean now, how hard is this? Any beliver worth their salt knows about the Ten Words!!
They are none other than the Ten Commandments! Many times people see the word “ten” in a parable and automatically try to make the “ten” represent the ten northern tribes. Very often this is the case. But not here. The reason being is that the woman only lost one coin. Ten coins were not lost (as in the scattering of the 10 nothern tribes) but only one. So the ten here is not the ten Northern Tribes. Additionally we discovered that the silver coins are His Words.
And he (Moses) was there with Yahuah forty days and forty nights. He did not eat bread and he did not drink water. And He wrote on the tablests the Words of the covenant, the Ten Words. Exodus 34:28
In summary then, to the beginning of this teaching by the King: The Bride had the Ten Words of Yahuah.
Hmmm, then She lost only one of them. Let me write out the list of the Ten Commandments and let us see if we can figure out which one she (I) lost.
1. I am Yahuah your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You have no other mighty ones against my face.
2. You do not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of that which is in the heavens above, or which is in the earth beneath, or which is in the waters under the earth, you do not bow down to them nor serven them. For I, Yahuah your Elhim am a jealous El, visiting the crookedness of the fathers of the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing kindess to thousands, to those who love Me and guard My commands.
3. You do not bring the Name of Yahuah your Elhim to naught, for Yahuah does not leave the one unpuynished who brings His Name to naught.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart. Six days you labor, and shall do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of Yahuah yourEjohim. You do not do any workd – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your malw servet, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days Yahuah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in the, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Yahuah blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart.
5. Respect your father and your mother, so that your days are prolonged upon the soil wich yYahuah your Elohim is giving you.
6. You do not murder.
7. You do not commit adultery.
8. You do not steal.
9. You do not bear false witenss against your neighbor.
10. You do not covet your neighbor’s house, you do not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, or whatever belong to your neighbor.
Now what I would ask you to do… is look over this list of the Ten Words, ten silver coins, very carefully. I wonder if there is “one” of these that was lost to the Bride, in history. Which one is it? Do you know, or can you see it? If you can… your King is speaking to you just as He is speaking to me! 2000 years ago, our King spoke these Words, in His language, directly to us today! I find that just amazing and heart penetrating!
We are truly truly living in an age of fulfillment of so many prophesies and so many do not even know it, because they do not know His Word, the Torah, the Prophets, the Writings. They do not obey Him, keep His instructions for life, actually do what the King said to do… to be in His Kingdom.
So… “light your lamp, sweep your house, and search diligently until you find which one has been lost!”
What is the lamp you are to light?
We return to the Book:
And it came to be, when the sun went down and it was doark, that see, a smoking oven and a bruning torch (lamp) passing between those pieces.” Genesis 15:17
Here the lamp is God Himself, when He covenanted with Himself on behalf of Abraham and his descendants.
In Exodus, the lamp is the menorah: “And you, you are to ommand the children of Israel to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.” Ex 27:20
The menorah represents the Light of Messiah, the light He shines into the world and into the lives of His people.
King David proclaimed that Yahuah is the Lamp in 2 Sam 22:29: “For You are my lamp, O Yahuah, and Yahuah makes my darkness light.”
In Psalm 119:105: “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
That makes complete sense, because we are told that the Word was made flesh, the Word was with God and the Word was God in John 1:1. Thus far, our lamp is God Himself, the Menorah (Messiah), His Word, and we are going to see that of course the lamp is the commandments.
For the command is a lamp, and the Torah a light – Proverb 6:23
So the woman, the Bride, takes her lamp, Messiah and His commandment, sweeps her house to look for the lost commandment – the missing silver coin. Her house is her dwelling place. Where do we dwell? We dwell in a vessel of skin, or flesh on this earth. When is the last time we swept our dwelling place? Searched our soul for sin and rebellion and cast off all that is not of Him?
What happens next, after she has taken the lamp and swept her house and searched diligently? She finds the missing silver coin!
She then calls friends and neighbors together and says, “Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I lost!”
And this is what I am saying to you today! “Rejoice with me! For I have found the missing commandment of my Elohim that was lost — It is His Sabbath Day! That is the missing silver coin. Commandment #4: Remember the Sabbath day and keep it Holy! Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice! I found my treasured possession! My wedding ring, my sign, and my oath. My seal, that I belong to the King!
Then, what does our King say about this woman… and all others who do this very same thing? What is He saying to you and to me?
“I say to you, in the same way there is joy in the presence of the messengers of Elohim over one sinner repenting.”
To sin is to miss the target. If we are missing the target, we are sinning. The target is to be in full obedience to ALL His commandments. Sin is trangression of the Law.
I am that one sinner repenting, who transgressed His Law by not keeping His Sabbath day. I am the woman, who had a missing silver coin. He allowed me to find it FINALLY in 2006 when He called me to “keep His Sabbath” and I was so full of joy, I tried to tell everyone. I still do! That is what I am doing now also. Rejoice with me! Keep the Sabbath of our King. So many will not listen. They do not believe they are in error, they believe they are not sinning and that they keep His commandments.
So many — billions of people — say they keep the 10 commandments. These are believers. They believe they are keeping the 10 commandments and do not even realize they are missing a silver coin. They truly believe that somehow, somewhere, that God’s Sabbath day was changed to another day. This is impossible, for He says He does not change.
He was speaking of me 2000 years ago!!! Right there in the Gospel of Luke! He was speaking to you too, if you will only follow Him… and keep His commandments. He desires to bless you. He desires to lift the veil. Sweep your house, search diligently and find the silver coin you are missing. And please believe me when I say, if you are not keeping the true Sabbath day, you are sinning, and you are missing a silver coin. This is my testimony. Shalom
